The idea for AppleSac began as one of the cofounders attended school at BYU Hawaii. He wanted a simple and effective way to carry his PowerBook without the bulk of a big bag, and without the lame look of neoprene. AppleSac's headquarters are located below the Wasatch Mountains in Salt Lake City, Utah. AppleSac encourages its employees to go out and travel the globe; and they do. When they are home they enjoy Utah's beautiful mountains all year long--from powdery snow in the winter to long single tracks in the summer.
